Hello! I am so excited to finally post some of the film I shot from my latest shoot with the lovely Emily. These are some shots I took with my Canon AE-1 (which by the way was a lucky find on shopgoodwill.com - totally worth the $30). I still have to finish scanning the film from my Mamiya 645, but for now here are a few of my favorite shots. I have more on my Facebook Page, and the full gallery can be found on my Flickr page. Thanks for looking!

There's no place like New York City...
I miss New York so much around this time of year, especially around the holidays. The cold, crisp air, the lights, the bare, lonely trees. It's somehow sad and beautiful at the same time. These are some pics I took in Montauk with my Holga on a cold, snow-covered day...

A few color shots from the Sweater Girl shoot...
Love these...thanks Emily for letting me borrow your digital camera too. I never get to see my pics so quickly!
Happy Birthday to my gorgeous baby brother!!
Today is my little brother's 26th birthday. He is the funniest person I know. I love him dearly (even though I may have tried to smother him as an infant). No matter what I may have said then, I am so glad he was born...my life certainly wouldn't be the same without him. Love you Bubbie.
Here are a few shots of my rock star brother I took last year when I got my AE-1.

Sweater Girl Shoot Part I
I am so excited to start posting pics from my first official Fashion/Lifestyle shoot. My incredible boyfriend got me an amazing new camera for Christmas (Mamiya 645 1000S) and I couldn't wait to use it. My first shoot was sort of a modern take on the "Sweater Girl" of the 50s. I already had an idea of what I wanted to do, but then I saw this shot of Lara Stone from a 2010 issue of Vogue, and my search for concept was over.
My take on the modern "Sweater Girl" was a bit different though. I was using a vintage camera with 3200 speed (super grainy) film, and really wanted an environment with a lot of contrast too. I decided to transform my garage into a sort of industrial/warehouse looking loft bedroom. I paired that with candlelight, a white down comforter, flowers and a beautiful young lady named Emily Mann. Here are a few digital shots for now...can't wait to see the film!!
Thank you Emily for being such a beautiful model and for braving the cold with me! You were amazing!
